Tell us a bit about who you are and what you do:

I am a Naturopathic Doctor, Breath Coach, Reiki Master and classical Indian dancer. I do detective work to identify and treat the root cause of disease instead of treating symptoms. I also educate and empower patients to take back their health into their own hands and use a preventative approach to medicine. I do functional testing when necessary and use botanical medicine, supplements, lifestyle recommendations, hydrotherapy, nutrition therapy, and movement therapy as part of my treatment. I also respect the deep interconnectedness between the mind, body, and spirit and use various mind-body techniques to address physical, mental, and emotional health such as EFT, breath work, and dance as therapy. I truly believe the body has the innate capacity to heal itself if nudged in correct way. I help YOU find your way back to wellness. 

What's your daily wellness routine?

My day starts with a smile to the sun, affirmations (both verbal and written), followed by prayer, meditation, and some form of energy healing. I do some autonomic nervous system exercises followed by some stretches and try to sneak in a few pages of a motivational book to start my day off with positivity. And of course - I do breath work!  Due to my chronic illness, I try to build in rest and rejuvenation time where I do some more energy healing and try to step out into nature, even if it’s for a few minutes. I eat gluten free and love the hands-on process of food preparation whenever I get the chance. I hydrate with 8 glasses of water and make sure to get those electrolytes in!

What's your favorite biohacking or health tip?

Breathwork - it is such an incredibly powerful tool which has an effect on the entire body. It helps balance hormones, shift from a sympathetic to parasympathetic state, calms anxiety, induces relaxation and muscle tension release, helps with digestion and improves sleep. It’s one of the most powerful tools I use daily and teach it as well! 

The most game-changing piece of advice you've ever received?

The power lies within you. You might have to dig for it and do some inner work - but it’s there within you. 

Favorite way to use COAST?

I love it as an electrolyte and energy boost! With my illness, I tend towards electrolyte imbalance, but Coast keeps me in check. My muscles and brain both appreciate the energy boost!
